DIY Project for Kids

Updated: Nov 10, 2020

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! It was so nice to get pampered for a day! And now we have some dreary days ahead and a couple more weeks of homeschool! I need all the positive vibes to finish this year up! I wanted to share this project the kids have been loving lately! The popular plastic bead bracelets are coming back, the ones with names of your kids, or the name of someone special on it. The kids made one for my mom for Mother's Day with the first initial of all the grandkids on it! She loved it!

I rounded up some of the main beads we have used. I like the look of the colorful initial beads and the gold beads, so fun! But the kids have been mixing gold and colorful beads to create some really pretty designs! Plus it keeps them busy for a while and lots of good hand, eye coordination! We have been using the clear stretchy elastic and tying knots on one end, stringing the beads and then knotting it again. And then knot it together! Pretty simple!

Here is one they made for their cousin! Great idea for birthdays for friends too! Hope you all have a great night!
