I feel like this week is flying by!! Yay, for Thursday!! Mother's Day is quickly approaching and I am helping our local Athleta store celebrate all our wonderful mother's out there! If you are like me and love to LIVE in comfy clothes, but don't want to look like you are wearing pjs all day long, Athleta is one of my go tos for athleisure clothes! They have so many cute options to wear, not only to work out in, but after the workout too! They just got some great new items in! Wichita Athleta in Bradley Fair is having a Mother's Day Event next Saturday, May 11th from 1-3pm for a day of shopping and beauty! I will also be in store that day to offer free mini makeup touch ups, and to answer any questions you have about makeup or skincare! I had to try on some of their new items while I was in store the other day, I told my husband I needed a gift card to Athleta for Mother's Day after I left, so many cute things!! This oufit was the first thing I picked out, these paperbag shorts are so comfy, come up higher on the waist and are not too short! I have them on in a zero and I thought they looked more on the orange/red side. I love it paired with this lightwieght top in lilac.
So I'm always hesitant to wear leggings, one of the main reasons is because of the panty line showing. Ladies I don't like to wear anything but my grandma panties, lol. Well they aren't full on grandma panties, let's just say they aren't skimpy! I got these leggings on and no panty line and they felt so soft and comfy. They really do feel like butter, in tights I like to wear a small. They have the cutest lasercut detail at the bottom of the leg. And I did try it on with a crop top, for fun, I had to tie a sweatshirt around the tiny part of skin showing because of my stretch marks! The color is a little brighter in person!
Joggers!! They are my go to! When these came back in style it brought me back to the college years when I would wear banded leg sweatpants! Yessss! Well they have come a long way, these joggers dress up those sweatpants by a long shot! The comfort of a sweatpant, but the look is more dressed up. Here I just paired it with an organic tank top, in XS. Athleta's tank tops are so comfy and come in so many styles and colors! Pair it with some birkenstock sandals and it's perfect!
This next outfit, was super exciting for me! I am not one to usually wear a dress for casual errands. But this dress changed that for me, it is so comfortable and flattering and has built in shorts, I'm wearing a zero. Paired it with this great bag that is 30% off and is so roomy, it would hold everything! And some cute casual sneakers!
Lastly, I have to talk about my favorite shorts to workout in! I have so many brands of workout shorts, and these are hands down my favorite! They are the only pair that allow me to move freely no matter what exercise I am doing and don't ride up when I am running. I can do squats and not feel constricted. They run TTS, I wear the XS. And of course it was raining out when we took pics, so I tried on this cute jacket.
Like all mom's we always shop for our kids, Athleta started caring Athleta GIrl in store, available in sizes 6-16! My girls love to wear athleisure, just like their mom:)
