Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a great week, it sure has been a week to take a step back and really review our perspective on the world we live in. The stories dealing with racism, riots, and just all around sadness was really weighing on me. I know where I am living we did not have it near as bad as what some of my friends were going thru. So after hearing how terrible things were for them, I wanted to better understand what was going on. I've worked in the retail and sales industry for a long time, so I have been interacting with all colors, nationalities, and languages. Sure, I've seen racism take place in the work environment, but I've never had to deal with it personally. I've always approached people with respect and have hoped to receive that back. And if I don't I have learned to think before saying and reevaluating my approach. And that's all people, everyone can give all sorts of emotions during the holidays! Anyway, I don't want to go deeper, but I wanted to address it because I know racism still is very much something happening. I believe we have to take an active approach to do better. I hope we can all do better, so we can unite and not see all this hurt and sadness in the world. I have been sharing some black influencers I follow on Instagram and also some black businesses. I will continue to do so, so I can help diversify myself and my followers. I hope these small changes can lead to bigger ones. And of course, lots of praying and reflecting!
I wanted to share a few outfit looks with the same tee! I have three of these boyfriend tees and just love them! I love the distressing around the neckline and hem and they are so comfy. The tees are perfect to wear with leggings and biker shorts because they cover the backside and then you can wear them casually or dress them up for date night! Here I have it styled with biker shorts! And instead of my usual neutral outfits, I tried some color and thought it was fun for summer!

I love the tan color, it would look great with so many different color biker shorts!
And then the same tee, but I put it with some bermuda jean shorts, heels, and a blazer! And since the tee is oversized, there is room to tie it into a knot!
My shorts fit TTS and I'm really liking the longer length, especially with some heels. My heels, I had to size up 1/2 size. These have been my favorite purchase this year, I love how they really elongate the leg.
