Over the extended weekend, we surprised our mom with a girls weekend for her birthday! The weather in Scottsdale this time of year is truely amazing, we had the best time! We stayed at the Fairmont Princess Resort and they made my mom's birthday feel so special. They had champagne and desserts waiting in our room for her, such a great treat!
Ok, and I have to tell you we went to the Well Being spa on Saturday and Sunday at the Fairmont Princess and it was such an incredible experience. No cameras were allowed back in the spa area. We had our swimsuits on under our robes and we had access to a dry sauna, steam sauna, whirpool, inhalation room, cold pool (ice cold- I did it for 7 min!!), swiss shower, rooftop pool and so many other accomodations. Hands down the best thing we did there, highly recommend if you go! I also had a massage and a hydrafacial, which I think deserves it's own blog post! After having one, I think I need one every month! One thing is for sure, I can't wait until we can go back, especially to escape the winter weather.
