Valentine's Date Night

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

So Valentine's Day falls on a Thursday this year, which means kids will still have activities and homework to do. And since we have been running so much lately, we are going to have dinner at home with the kids. Date night will have to wait! But if we were to go out and I actually took the time to get ready, I came up with an outfit I would wear!

You kinda have to wear a satin cami on Valentine's Day, right?! Actually I probably won't be, lol, but I love the look and have several in different colors. I love this vintage pink cami, paired with my off white blazer. I think I'm going to get the smokey blue and the gray since they are on sale!! They can double as a pj top too! The blazer I am currently wearing is sold out, but I found a similar one here. It took me awhile to actually wear my blazer after I bought it, but I love how it can be dressed up or down and I like the structure of a blazer. I still wear my cardigans, but a blazer hangs and disguises everything so nicely:) I have to buy my blazers in a petite for the arm length. My distructed jeans are from Madewell and on sale here, they run TTS. I bought my burgandy clutch last year for fall, I found a similar one on sale here. I love how it pairs with the pink for Valentine's!!

We were definitely fighting the sun tonight, but I love the red cast!

I actually wore heels tonight, which is huge!! I love to wear heels, but my feet do not like them! I have these from Ann Taylor and my feet actually don't mind them. They are a really nice heel height without being uncomfortable. I love the grey suede because it can go with pretty much anything, its a neutral!

What are your plans for Valentine's Day, going out or a night at home?!
