My name is Mandy Steven, a wife to my incredible husband, Nate. And a mother to 5 amazing kids, that keep me very busy! I grew up in a small town and lived in the city after college. We moved back to the small town I grew up in 2 1/2 years ago. I always thought I would be a city girl, but my heart never left the small town. It's home. My kids can run free, and we have three horses, eight chickens, three cats, and one dog. I NEVER thought I was an animal person, but I couldn't imagine not having our furry, feathered friends!
I have been in the makeup/fashion industry for over 15 years. I majored in apparel/textile marketing with a minor in business in college. I initially wanted to go into interior design but found out I'm not one to draft up floor plans. I have always had a passion for current makeup/fashion trends and of course interior design. I love to help people look and feel their best; it is the best feeling in the world! I’ve been in the makeup industry for over 16 years and am currently a freelance makeup artist for Laura Mercier (9 years) and Chanel (5 years). This blog was made to help share my knowledge and information about current makeup/fashion trends. And to take people along on our new home projects as well as an outlet for my passion for health and fitness.
